World Premiere of 2par2 by Alexandra “Spicey” Landé at the FTA

Updated: Apr 10

A first participation in the Festival TransAmériques for creator Alexandra “Spicey” Landé and her street dance company Ebnflōh. The result of her creative work over the past several years, the production 2par2 will be presented in its world premiere starting June 6 at Théâtre ESPACE GO.

Relationships, as a psychosocial phenomenon, lie at the heart of 2par2. Conceived as a mass of dualities and polarities, this work, bringing together ten virtuosic performers, integrates an intimate and demanding narrative.

We lose each other, we find each other again, we argue, we resist, we search for one another, we abandon each other, we support each other. Often with great humility and vulnerability, we dare to believe in it so that we can move forward. Our lives are shaped, nourished, and woven through relationships, whether friendships, family ties, or romantic bonds. It is difficult to live without the other. Do our societies not take shape through the fact, perhaps even the expectation, of sharing our lives with someone else?
