Acadian neo-trad trio Vishtèn presents CONNEXIONS, a series of performances featuring a unique collaboration between island guest musicians and the beautiful and enchanting visual art form known as the crankie.
The crankie is a long, illustrated scroll, rolled on two cranked reels, that scrolls in a box that serves as a screen.
Island artists Monica Lacey and Norah Pendergast will create works illustrating songs selected by the group.
Special guests joining Vishtèn in music: Catherine MacLellan, Tim Chaisson, Don Ross, Rowen Gallant, Jesse Périard, Teresa Doyle, Hélène Bergeron and Louise Arsenault!
