We are pleased to announce that artist Morgan Toney , Cape Breton’s rising roots revelation, is joining the Résonances family. With thousands of years of tradition behind him, Toney melds the Scottish heritage of this Nova Scotian island with Mi’kmaq songs, stories, and language in his own genre of music, “Mi’kmaltic,” meaning Mi’kmaq + Celtic.

The young-audience dance company  Bouge de là keeps the celebrations going. The trad trios Genticorum  and É.T.É  are hitting the road across Europe in November, with exciting tours in France  and Sweden . This fall marks Genticorum’s 25th anniversary , a perfect occasion for the trio to perform their greatest hits and celebrate with many friends in France. É.T.É  will have the chance to introduce Swedish audiences to some new pieces from their upcoming album, set to be released in the fall of 2026 .
