During this festive afternoon, you'll have the chance to discover an innovative and unifying concept: the Stepdance Battle. Created by BIGICO from an idea by Jonathan C. Rousseau, the Stepdance Battle brings together dancers who are ready to dazzle the audience. Accompanied by a traditional musician, two teams face off in two rounds of play before a voting audience! Between challenges, discussions will help demystify stepdancing, shifting people’s preconceived notions. This jewel of our dance heritage remains vibrant and inventive today!

En explorant la résonance des murs, métaphoriquement et littéralement, les neuf interprètes se transforment en instruments vivants, générant des rythmes et des motifs sonores qui retentissent à travers l'espace. Résolument novatrice, cette création audacieuse fusionne nos héritages culturels pour créer une danse profondément enracinée dans l'âme québécoise.
