Formed in 2018, La Déferlance offers refreshing, brightly colored trad. Its repertoire is made up not only of lively tunes and purely traditional songs arranged to its flavor, but also of numerous entirely original compositions. The group's energetic, polished performances are a testament to its members' years of varied musical experience, particularly in jazz and classical music. The group now travels across Canada to present its show Le feu aux poudres, taken from its debut album released in 2022.
