LE FILS D'ADRIEN DANSE
CONTEMPORARY DANCE
Since its founding in 1999, Le fils d'Adrien danse has produced numerous shows in four distinct niches that have become emblematic of the company's development: general public, youth, in situ and film. Harold Rhéaume's approach to choreography is open to human and artistic encounters, and has enabled the company to forge ties with numerous collaborators who have made tangible contributions to the development of the aesthetic signature of its productions.
Deeply involved in its discipline and its milieu, Le fils d'Adrien danse fosters the development of new talent by generating numerous projects and regularly intervening in the training and mentoring of up-and-coming dancers and students from professional dance schools .

Is contemporary dance essential?
Do our projects resonate with public concerns and the fundamental issues that occupy today’s society?
How can we better deal with the different realities of contemporary dance audiences?
How to question the public/stage relationship?
This creation, nourished by a series of cultural mediation residencies across Quebec and France, explores the place of audiences both in the creative process and in the «presentation system» of the work.
At the beginning of the show, the five performers (including the choreographer Harold Rhéaume, as performer) will welcome on stage the audiences in order to dive into the heart of the creative matrix, traveling together on a journey appealing to the senses, in proximity to the performers.
With SENS, Le fils d’Adrien danse wishes to position himself on the place occupied by the arts and more specifically dance in our society and on the impacts, she can have on the audiences.
