Summer 2021 - In Situ dance offerings respecting physical distance

EBNFLŌH

In-Beauty questions the parameters of female gender through its choreographic language, rooted in Hip Hop. With an urban furniture as a starting point, the 4 performers push their physical abilities and revisit the codes of street dance.

Nourished by the different venues, In-Beauty invites the spectator to experience the energy of street dance.

ÉCOUTE POUR VOIR (Listen to see) proposes a variety of solos scattered in the space and danced simultaneously. Equipped with a pair of Blue Tooth headphones connected to the same iPod, dancers and spectators share a choreography face to face for the duration of the music.

FLEUVE | ESPACE DANSE

The in situ performance was created on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, observing the tides and all that they carry; hours, hopes, seaweed, birds, wrecks, oil. It invites the viewer to experience a communion with nature, through movement and contemplation.

RIGEL & BETELGEUSE is the story of a singular pairing that comes from nowhere and is inevitably doomed to the departure of one or the other. These two characters come out of an unknown canvas and propose a real "dance-chase". They evoke the universal and the non-gendered in a score that can be modulated according to the place where he is.

LES ARCHIPELS

FRICTIONS is an ambulatory performance inspired by different social phobias. Rhythm, play, pleasure and rigor are omnipresent.

A deconstructed contemporary jig, but above all moving and touching thanks to the relationships it presents.
