The folk/blues/jazz band Sussex is nominated for "Group of the Year" at the Canadian Folk Music Awards.
Their latest album and concert, "The Ocean Wide", offers a tasty and eclectic mix of blues, folk, ragtime, Americana and jazz. Internationally renowned musicians Rob Lutes (guitar, banjo, vocals) and Michael Emenau (vibraphone, pianica) are joined on stage by the talented Bruno Lamarche (saxophone, clarinet) and the legendary Ivanhoe Jolicoeur (trumpet).
The winners will be announced at the gala in April 2021. More information to come on the form the gala will take.
