Folk-country singer-songwriter Clay Hazey will be featured in an official showcase at North by Northeast ou NXNE in Toronto. This independent music and film festival also features conferences and industry speakers.
Our agent Patrick Nadon will also be attending to represent all of our artists.
Clay Hazey’s performances follow the same approach as his writing: to convert non-believers to the power of organic, heartfelt country and folk music. Joined as ever by his older brother, the two harmonize effortlessly, having performed together since their days in the family band. Mix these two with warm pedal steel, bluegrass fiddle, and air-tight Nashville drumming, and you get a white-hot band ready to bring you everything from poetry-laced barnyard waltzes to rousing sing-along folk-rock anthems.
His self-titled debut EP (2024) earned spins on CBC Radio 1, charted on college radio in Burnaby and Toronto, and featured the standout single Past Two — which played for over six months on SiriusXM’s NorthAmericana.
