Grand Premiere of "Entre nous sommes pris entre nous" by Mille Feux

Mille Feux presents its brand-new creation at Théâtre Aux Écuries this spring. Both funny and touching, Entre nous sommes pris entre nous is a true ode to friendship—a human tapestry that highlights the cycles of life and generations, aging, and mutual support.

On stage, an intergenerational cast led by Mireille Métellus and Ginelle Chagnon is joined by a chorus of six dancers. These two women—one seated on a four-wheel walker, the other in motion—are deeply rooted in their daily lives. They recount the decades they've lived through, reminiscing about their first meeting. As they recall fragments of life and regrets, they reflect on the passage of time, transporting us through their memories.

Co-directed by Marilyn Daoust and Gabriel Léger-Savard, the piece seamlessly blends dance and theater. The two artists have been collaborating since 2018 and have been recognized as Mille Feux since 2024. Entre nous sommes pris entre nous is the duo’s third creation at the intersection of theater and dance, following L du Déluge, presented at La Chapelle Scènes Contemporaines (2022), and Le temps des fruits, streamed via Tangente (2021) and later toured across Quebec (2022–2024).
