Heading to South Korea for Fleuve | Espace Danse

This summer, Fleuve | Espace Danse will reach an important milestone with its very first appearance in Asia as part of the Busan International Dance Festival, presenting its production Êtres de bois.

A major dance event in South Korea, the festival brings together local and international companies each year, attracting large audiences as well as numerous arts professionals. Invited to take part in the opening night, the company will perform at the BCC Theater, a major venue with close to 900 seats. It will share the stage with Burn Baby Burn by Côté Danse, as part of a high-level international program.

Throughout the festival, Fleuve | Espace Danse will move from one theatre venue to another, while also performing on an iconic outdoor seaside stage. These varied settings will allow the company to connect with a broad audience, ranging from formal performance environments to more spontaneous and festive experiences.

By navigating between these spaces and audiences, the company will multiply opportunities for connection and visibility. This first venture into Asia with Êtres de bois promises to be both an exciting and defining step in the international development of Fleuve | Espace Danse.
