We are extremely proud to welcome artist Simon Denizart to the Résonances agency family.
Simon Denizart is a French pianist who arrived in Montreal in 2011 and has been racking up accolades ever since. His music is sensitive and energizing, sprinkled with subtle, accessible melodies.
His first three albums Between Two Worlds (2015), Beautiful People (2016) and Darkside (2017) earned him several awards, including the Prix du public at the FestiJazz de Rimouski in 2014, Révélation Radio-Canada in 2016 and ADISQ nominations in 2017 and 2018.
His latest album Nomad (2021) features a unique encounter between piano and calabash. Influenced by world music, jazz, classical and electronic music, the album features original instrumental compositions that take listeners on an eclectic journey on the theme of travel, immigration and human relationships. The album also earned him an ADISQ nomination in 2021.
In 2023 he begins a new collaboration with the prestigious Canadian label Justin Time Records, producing his forthcoming fifth album: Piece of Mind.
